We find ourselves in strange times and, in response to such times, we
are adapting some new formats of worship in response to
recommendations from the CDC and the Tennessee Department
of Health.

Zoom is fairly simple to use.  Near the scheduled meeting time, you click
the link, the program will launch in your web browser.  If you have never
used Zoom before, the program will launch, but you will have to click a
'download' hyperlink from the webpage.  It does not take long to download
and launch the meeting.  You will be required to 'allow' the download.  This
means you will select 'run' when prompted, and more than likely, 'allow'
when your computer prompts you.

Once you are in, your webcam should activate and you will see yourself
on your screen.  You can choose to mute or attend without video.  I
recommend you attend with video, but mute your audio.  If your computer
does not have the proper audio capability, there is an audio call-in option
from your phone.

Evening Prayer - A responsive service of prayer which is part of a
'daily office' or routine of prayer.  Evening Prayer includes confession
of sins, psalms and canticles, readings, and prayers offered in
thanksgiving and on behalf of others.

Vestry - Another strange word. The priest wear liturgical clothing called
Vestments. In the past, the wardens of the church held meetings in the
Vesting room (a small room where the priests get ready for services.)
As a result, that board became known as the Vestry.  The "Vestry" in a
Episcopal parish is like a board of directors who carry out the business
of the parish.  Vestry members are elected by our members at an annual
meeting held in December.
